This program will move from community to community. The program is
set up to educate children who are not in the education system.
There will be youth camps teaching children about awareness, career
opportunities and languages.
When
we locate groups of children who are or outside the Thai system
(itinerant foreign children on building sites, slum dwellers, etc.)
we make an evaluation of their needs and when possible, provide
basic education and free health care through the generosity of local
medical and dental practitioners.
We
are presently planning an unofficial survey of building sites to see
how many children are staying there and what services they need. We
hope to attract help from the owners of the site in providing funds.
We have just completed a research project on child labor for UNICEF.
